Mellow R&B that draws on a minimalist palette...

ESCHES evolved from the imagination of Robert Summerfield, a Vienna based artist whose roots extend across the upper peninsula of Michigan and the greater Chicago area.

The multi-talented artist dropped two singles last year, offering stark blasts of mellow R&B that draw from a minimalist palette.

Third song 'Laguna Limited' continues his rise, a bold but nonetheless subtle return that deftly expands on his opening salvos.

Rooted in ESCHES' gorgeous falsetto, the single seems to continually strive towards some unreachable goal.

Romantic songwriting that deals in sweeping gestures, ESCHES' third offering ‘Laguna Limited’ is “a song about momentary utopia and the construction of escape, be it emotional or fictitious.”

Director Glen Luchford is taking notes from the golden age of cinema, referencing the most iconic films of all time, including: An American in Paris, Cover Girl, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Singin’ in the Rain, Gucci treats us to uniform tap dancers, floor length ball gowns, fur (faux, of course) and headpieces befitting only the original silver screen sirens.
